What is a TMC Reiki Session Like?
Medical Center Reiki treatments are administered through the healing hands of a fully certified Reiki practitioner with the client lying fully clothed on a massage table. All our Texas Reiki practitioners are Grand Masters, both qualified and experienced in administering Reiki healing treatments. A session typically lasts 1 hour. The Medical Center Reiki practitioner places his or her hands at locations around the head and shoulders, the abdomen and on the legs and feet. Muscles are not manipulated. Instead, the practitioner's hands are simply held at each location, lightly touching or slightly away from the body. Reiki energy flows from the Medical Center Reiki practitioner's hands and into the client's body and energy field. A Medical Center Reiki session feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that surrounds and fills the client and includes feelings of relaxation, peace and well-being that also promote healing.

We also offer Reiki classes for those who wish to learn how to Reiki. Reiki is both effective and simple to learn; no special skills are required, and there are no prerequisites.
